About Hannah Berry

I am a graduate of UMass Amherst who majored in marketing and journalism. Throughout my time in Isenberg I have refined my data analysis, market research, media marketing, and copywriting skills through Market Research, Social Media Marketing Analysis, and Consumer Behavior courses. During my Data Analytics and Project Management internship at Seven Saws Brewing I portrayed organizational skills, data analytics skills while generating distribution reports through Excel, B2B communication regarding local distribution, and event planning as I organized a beer festival fundraiser raising over $2,500 for NEADS.In my current role as a program coordinator at Wireside Communications, I effectively pitch B2B technology media for clients on topics such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and photonics. In order to pursue the right journalists, I work to curate targeted media lists and have landed coverage in business publications such as Bloomberg, Forbes, and Axios, as well as trade publications like Silicon Semiconductor Magazine and New Electronics. I demonstrate organized notetaking as I provide call notes and action items for up to 12 internal and client calls per week. As a program coordinator, I also serve as a member of our marketing and social team where I curate social media posts for X and Instagram promoting internal brand awareness. As an intern at Amherst Media, I have demonstrated strong production, editing, and news reporting skills. My strong AP writing skills, Adobe Premier editing skills, radio script writing skills, and news reporting on camera skills make me a qualified candidate for an informative news anchor. My leadership experience as Women in Business\'s Diversity Equity and Inclusion chair has inspired me to make a meaningful impact on the newsroom regarding equal opportunity, diversity, equity, and inclusion. I want to further this news impact to create a greater impact on society to portray every point of view in the news to reach every audience in a more sentimental and impactful way.I have further demonstrated leadership skills through my time as Vice President of Philanthropy in Alpha Chi Omega, Historian for Women in Business, and my presidency in the Order of Omega Honor Society. By promoting Domestic Violence Awareness on campus and the Amherst community I have developed philanthropic skills, exceptional event organization and planning skills, and successful fundraising abilities. My experience as Historian has strengthened my photography, social media management, and event planning skills.
