ABOUT HANNAH L. HARRISON

I am a broadly trained human ecologist working on topics that intersect conservation social sciences and marine affairs. I work as an Assistant Professor in the Marine Affairs Program at Dalhousie University where I teach in the Masters of Marine Management degree program and supervise graduate students across a breadth of institutions and fields. I specialize in qualitative human dimensions research on a range of topics related to seafood, coastal communities and access, and anadromous fish species conservation. My work is highly interdisciplinary and partnership-driven. I lead the FishPeoplePlace lab where I seek to foster relational, student-centered training, personal growth, and nurture partnerships.
