Producer for DARE Festivals 3, 4 and 5 in partnership with Shoreditch Town Hall.• Commissioned over 30 artists/companies to create new playable theatre to premiere at DARE.• Secured £45K ACE funding for DARE Festival, as well as support from Unity Theatre Trust.• Mentoring all commissioned artists/companies in self-producing and fundraising, supporting on the submission of numerous ACE applications, and guidance on developing their work post-DARE.• Leading on the development of DARE into a fully-accessible festival, including BSL, audio-description, captioning, wheelchair access, live intro notes, touch tours, and epileptic safe-routes.• Produce each of Upstart\'s own projects, including Red Planet Revolution (Nominated for the Innovation Award at VAULT Festival 2020), The Chorus Project (Creative Europe funded coproduction with partners in Germany, Austria and North Macedonia), and Marco. • Fundraising lead securing both core and project income.
