About Hannah Zoibi

As a Bachelor of Business Administration student at the University of Illinois Chicago, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Business Analytics, I have begun to develop an understanding of financial principles and business operations. My active involvement in the Accounting Club enhanced my enthusiasm for this field.Currently, I am a Tax Intern for WipFli. This internship has taught me skills through navigating tax software, preparing individual and business tax returns, and collaborating with senior accountants and partners to reach a common goal and uphold federal accounting standards. The summer following my freshman year of college, I interned for Exelon\'s Business Services Corporate Accounting team. During my internship, I performed monthly account reconciliations and invoices to support accurate financial reporting, researched political contribution documentation for non-profit reporting standards, collaborated on a project on clean energy incentives to company executives, and much more. This internship provided me with valuable insight into complex accounting systems, offered my first hands-on experience in corporate accounting, and strengthened both my technical and collaborative skills. I am excited to return to Exelon in the summer of 2026 as a controller\'s intern with the talented external financial reporting team. In the summer of 2027, I will be joining BDO as an Assurance Intern. I am thrilled to be working with such a talented team and a prestigious company. This opportunity will further my accounting and professional skills while allowing me to explore various fields for my future in accounting. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set: time management, leadership, and relationship-building. I am eager to leverage these skills in future opportunities within the field of accounting, contributing to organizational success and pursuing continuous professional growth.
