Responsible for selecting and editing feature images for all stories, newsletters, and podcasts published on the website and social media channels.• Designed photo-heavy digital compositions and collages for feature stories. • Designed templates and graphics for daily podcasts and video cross-promotion.• Produced eight (8) podcast brand identities for The Bulwark Podcast, Summer Monday’s with Will & Charlie, Need to Know with Amanda Carpenter, The Next Level, Bulwark Goes to Hollywood, Shield of the Republic, Beg to Differ, and Just Between Us.• Designed brand identities for premium newsletters including Morning Shots, The Triad, Overtime, and Bulwark Goes to Hollywood in 2020. Managed a redesign in 2023 to incorporate the addition and release of the Press Pass newsletter.• Designed, produced, and wrote the limited-run Substack newsletter Hellcat on running an ultra-marathon relay race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.• Edited feature pieces covering a range of topics from foreign policy to education reform. • Wrote long form on trends during the pandemic. Contributed regular shorter blog items on arts and literary criticism.• Developed and executed creative strategies for the publication across media channels and digital platforms. Including all content development, organic and paid campaigns, scheduling, and planning for Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram (from 20••••22).• Served as the in-house photographer for events, headshots, and reporting assignments.
