ABOUT HANNAH WAUGH
My current role is as fundraising coordinator for Be Free Young Carers a fantastic charity that provides support to young carers in Oxfordshire. I have 5 years of experience working in not for profits including fundraising and admin roles, along with volunteering as social media support. I gained an interest in volunteering for the charity Swings & Smiles when I was at university in 2017 and this sparked my love for charity work. I started working for the charity in 2019 as a play leader and this interest in the industry continued to grow.I am a graduate of the University of the West of England in Early childhood studies. This has sparked a passion around children with special educational needs and disabilities. This interest continued and I have recently completed a masters with the University of Portsmouth in Psychology with Learning Difficulties I learned so much from this degree and my passion around supporting those with disabilities and their loved ones is my driving force within charity work. I love to sing, read and write and am always looking for opportunities to indulge these loves as hobbies or with my work.
