I moved over to BOB ICB in September 2023 having worked as a Prescribing Support Dietitian under Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust since 2018. I continue to do the same job within the Medicines Optimisation Team, however I am now employed by BOB ICB. My role involves educating healthcare professionals and patients on the importance of \'food first\' and reducing the reliance on prescribed medicines and supplements. This includes presenting to GPs, Pharmacists, Nurses and working closely with care home staff too. I am responsible for writing formularies and guidance for healthcare professionals to follow to promote appropriate prescribing.
