ABOUT HANNAH THORNE AMCIHT

Working for Pipster Solutions since November 2020, I have quickly progressed from Bid Writer to Senior Bid Writer to my current role as Bidding Manager. I have enthusiastically taken on additional responsibilities including team management, business development, and leadership for the business as a key member of the company’s Business Management Team. Since joining the company, I have been integral to the conception, development and management of new company processes and procedures, ensuring the company meets statutory and best practice requirements. Seeing the team\'s need to continually improve, I devised monthly ‘Team Talks’ so internal experience and knowledge could be disseminated and regular \'Safety Moments\' to share with the team. I am also passionate about supporting staff wellbeing through my auxiliary role as the company’s Wellbeing Champion where I hold regular wellbeing support chats with staff, as well as creating and circulating a regular wellbeing publication,\'PipWell\'. Achieving APMP Foundation Level in 2021 and Practitioner Level in 2023 demonstrates my commitment to professional development through the only industry-recognised certification programme for professionals working in bids, tenders, and proposals. Additionally, I gained Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 2 certification in 2022 and Level 3 in 2023 to assist me in managerial duties. I have also keenly completed numerous training courses to aid my professional development, including performance management, time and work management, and NEC 4 contract training.My friendly and approachable nature has seen me build strong relationships with many wonderful Pipster clients. A strategic, comprehensive, professional approach, excellent eye for detail and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment have seen me achieve an impressive win rate for one of the company’s key clients. This success has meant that existing frameworks and contracts have been won and maintained for the client’s 150-strong workforce, assisting them in providing job security and growing their business exponentially. I have also worked for a range of other clients on a range of successful bids, including maintaining a longstanding contract for a small contracting firm, and securing work for the next four years.Being highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator has meant that I am able to create high-quality bid graphics, for my own proposals as well as for members of the team.
