Entering the talent acquisition industry has allowed me to grow in an area of Human Resources that I really enjoy. I strive to be a resource for candidates and companies I work with. I seek to do this by listening to the goals and challenges of both sides, and from there, build relationships that will benefit both. I’m often complimented on how easy I am to work with during cold calls and interviews. I attribute that experience to my friendly, honest, and humble personality, as well as my focus on transparency and communication. The most rewarding part about being a recruiter in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry is learning how candidates are making a difference in the world and being able to help them find an opportunity that will allow them to advocate for patients even further. I especially enjoy working with roles that focus on rare disease, as these patients need advocates. So many candidates who I speak with share such a passion for supporting these unmet needs. Outside of recruiting, I really enjoy traveling, swimming, spending time with my horses, and reading with a big mug of coffee and my cat next to me.

I listen to understand the skills, relationships, and experiences needed to best fit their roles. As we work together, I present top talent, communicate progress, request feedback, and manage the applicant flow.My duties also include- Recruit passive candidates, engage with applicants, and perform phone assessments - Engage with candidates throughout the interview process- Communicate with clients to present market insight and track candidate flow- Manage applicant flow through iCIMS, JobScore, Loxo, JazzHR, and ADP- Schedule interviews using GoodTime, Calendly, and Microsoft Teams
