I played a key role in launching Vix Smart Gates, managing the product lifecycle and coordinating cross-functional teams. I led two teams (back office and device) during the early development phases, ensuring milestones and deliverables were met.I worked closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, aligning them with business objectives and customer needs. I then translated these into detailed User Stories to deliver a user-centric product. I supported the product’s road to live through testing, training and debugging, and created training materials and user documentation to support successful adoption. I engaged directly with customers and station teams, gathering feedback face-to-face whenever possible, using their insights to refine requirements and influence new features.I collaborated with third-party suppliers on functionality changes, issue resolution and enhancements. I wrote specifications and worked alongside Solution Architects to develop Solution Designs. As the Rail Gate product roadmap owner, I prioritised features based on market demand and customer feedback, keeping stakeholders informed on goals, timelines and deliverables.I also gained experience in hardware management, writing and managing RFIs to select appropriate hardware for solutions. I acted as a Product Expert for sales bids, supporting the sales team in understanding customer needs and presenting solutions. I represented Vix Technology at conferences and trade shows, promoting the Rail Gate product family to customers and industry professionals, helping to drive adoption and awareness.
