ABOUT HANNAH SAXE
I provide advice in relation to the legal issues arising from relationship breakdown, including the arrangements for children, and financial settlements. I also provide advice about protective measures such as prenuptial and cohabitation agreements. I specialise in resolving disputes about the arrangements for children. This includes cases with the following elements- • Making/defending applications to relocate with children, within England and Wales, and overseas. •. Domestic and international adoption. • Surrogacy and fertility law. • Allegations of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse.• Applications by grandparents. • Alienating behaviours. • Fabricated or induced illness. • Parents and children who are neurodivergent. • Drug and alcohol dependency. I also have particular expertise in advising co-habiting couples on relationship breakdown, both in terms of resolving issues relating to property, and securing financial provision for children. I act for clients with assets of all levels but I have particular experience in dealing with cases where the assets are complicated and high value, where emergency measures such as freezing injunctions are required, and those with international elements, for example, financial proceedings in this country after an overseas divorce.I am a member of Resolution, and sit on the National Cohabitation Committee. I was also elected onto the National Committee in 2022 and completed a 3 year term. I am ranked as a Rising Star in Legal 50•••24 and was nominated for the Rising Star award in the Private Client category of the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse awards in 2023. I am ranked as Up and Coming in Chambers and Partners 2025.
