About Hannah Rosenfeld
As a recent graduate of the University of Oregon, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, combining my academic interests with my passion for science and global perspectives, and studied abroad in Spain in July of 2024. I am extremely passionate about sports, with hopes of getting involved in sports journalism/broadcasting someday! I currently work as a youth sports coordinator at the Eugene Family YMCA, overseeing the youth soccer and basketball leagues. I’m responsible for the organization, delivery, and supervision of sports programs that the YMCA serves, which take place in various locations across Lane County, including Eugene, Springfield, Creswell, and Pleasant Hill School Districts. I served as volunteer coordinator and a guest relations assistant at the Eugene Science Center, where I led volunteer orientations and handled all volunteer opportunities. I enjoy engaging with the community and promoting science education and outreach. In addition, I served as the city director for Eugene and Corvallis B\'nai B\'rith Youth Organization chapters, coordinating events and leading activities for Jewish teens in the area. I have developed strong leadership and volunteer management skills through this role, as well as my previous work experiences.
