ABOUT HANNAH QUIRK
I am an academic with a particular interest in miscarriages of justice. I look at how changes to the criminal law and criminal evidence increase the risk of wrongful convictions and how the criminal justice system then investigates and responds to such cases. I also have an interest in sentencing. I am an Academic Fellow of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and an Associate Tenant at Drystone Chambers. I am General Editor of The Criminal Law Review and sit on the editorial board of the Wrongful Convictions Law Review. I regularly appear in the media discussing topical criminal justice issues.
