I am an advocate for the Pandemic Pivot. Let me explain; I took a leap of faith in 2021 by leaving the only career path I had ever known, Retail Management. I am a part of the \"Great Resignation\" statistic and proud of it. If anything in life isn\'t guaranteed, it is the length of time you get to spend doing anything that you love. In any moment, everything can change. So please, ask yourself:\"is what I am doing fulfilling my purpose?\" So what is my purpose? Seeing others succeed. That is why I chose Recruiting. It was always the best part of my job. I loved hosting hiring fairs, interviewing candidates for what was in most cases their first job. From there I could see them grow, and not just on the sales floor. I saw others graduate college, get married, or find their dream job. As they found those dream jobs, I stayed where I was. The great facilitator, the jumping off point, the way to earn money while going to school. Their stepping stone was my glass ceiling. So, for 2021 I decided to finally follow my dream. Since that leap I have held progressive roles with Help at Home. Currently, that role is leading a 40 person Recruiting and Onboarding team. You could say leaving retail was the riskiest and most rewarding thing I\'ve ever done. Are you ready to fly?
