Passionate, driven, hardworking, and compassionate. I love working with likeminded people in a fast paced cooking/food based environments, with locality and quality at the forefront of their missions. I work in the culinary world: I have worked as a catering and kitchen manager, in restaurants, in specialty food shops, in private events, customer service, and as a private chef. In the past, I have worked with people petitioning for full legal status, refuge, and asylum in the US. My goal is work to gain basic food rights for all people and eventually merge my love of food and cooking with food justice: the principle that nutritious, environmentally-sound, and affordable food should be readily accessible to all.
