ABOUT HANNAH KENNEY M.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) based in Charlottesville, Virginia, I am passionate about supporting individuals in their journey toward independence and success. With a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis (ABA), I specialize in working with children and adults of varying disabilities. Currently, I am licensed as both a Special Education Teacher and BCBA, focusing on compassionate, ethical ABA practices that prioritize each learner’s choices and autonomy. My approach is centered on creating individualized, evidence-based interventions that respect the dignity and preferences of those I serve, while promoting meaningful skill development and long-term success.I have provided services in clinic, home, and school-based settings to a large variety of learners, ages 2 through 22. My expertise includes Skills-Based Treatment, Functional Communication Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Discrete Trial Training, and teaching Activities of Daily Living. I have been formally trained in VB-MAPP and Essential for Living (EFL) assessments. I have completed my supervisor training requirements for the BACB and am available to supervise BCBA or BCaBA trainees.
