ABOUT HANNAH KARIM
My name is Hannah Karim. I recently graduated with an English Master\'s from the University at Albany. Throughout my time as a graduate student, I held positions as a Research and Program Assistant for the Interdisciplinary Humanities Labs, Vice President for English Graduate Student Organization, Graduate Tutor for the UAlbany Writing Center, and Community Assistant for the World of Writing - Living Learning Community. My course studies have included Research Methods in Rhetoric and Composition, Third World Marxisms, Theory of the Novel, Statistical Methods in Psychology, Peer Education, Advanced Writing Workshop, and Contemporary Literature and Critical Theory.Additionally, throughout my three years of undergrad, I developed experience in editing/writing literary content, conference presentation, tutoring writing, peer mental health support, and, most importantly, literary reading, research, and writing. Driven by my belief in writing as a means of establishing clarity concerning oneself and the surrounding world, I intend to contribute to society through fostering literary community, researching systems of oppression, improving education accessibility, and pursuing a career path that will one day allow me to teach as an English professor at an accredited university.
