About Hannah Heller
I am currently seeking my next opportunity to apply my transferable skills as a mixed-methods researcher, seasoned writer and editor, and goal-oriented strategist.I bring a unique background in museum consulting, where I oversee end-to-end research projects for cultural organizations. I have lead projects for 20+ unique clients, helping them measure their impact, communicate their value, and align their practices.Prior to my work as a full time research consultant, I spent over ten years as an art museum educator, working with a variety of audiences, including K-12 students, visitors with disabilities, teachers, teens, and multi-generational groups to present high quality, well-researched, and inquiry-based tours and programs. While I was running around NYC implementing museum tours, large-scale teen programs, multi-visit school partnerships, and professional development workshops for teachers, I was also completing my Ed.D, in Art & Art Education with a focus on art museum education. I developed an expertise around mitigating impacts of Whiteness in gallery teaching practices, and best practices around designing accessible museum experiences for all audiences. I also developed an editorial practice, serving as an editor for journals in my field and working closely with other writers to realize their visions.This period of my career was a master class in developing (and maintaining) authentic relationships, communicating complicated ideas effectively, and honing the listening skills required to truly understand people, their pain points, and motivations.Now, I\'m looking to challenge myself to apply my skills in a new context, supporting businesses and entrepreneurial organizations better understand their audiences in order to do what they do even better.
