About Hannah Genovese
Graduate from Indiana University with an interest in public policy, international affairs, and government media. I completed coursework within Indiana’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies (HLS) as a 2017 direct admit as well as The Media School and graduated in May 2021 with two Bachelor’s degrees in International Affairs and Media Management, Industry, and Policy with a specialization in Media Law and Ethics and a Minor in Political Science. The Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies allowed me to gain extensive knowledge while shaping me into a culturally empathetic and well-rounded employee that the United States government seeks to hire. My coursework and previous experience has allowed me to build valuable critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that I will use in my career in government affairs. I have an interest in working with a government organization. This will allow me to utilize my international studies and media curriculum which consists of history, current events, diplomatic relations, and the media’s effect on international affairs.
