In seeking to combine my interest in geography with my legal career, I returned to this boutique claimant environmental law firm in Cambridge, following my previous employment as a paralegal. Experience obtained as both assistant and lead fee earner across the spectrum of environmental law to date includes:+ a judicial review challenge to the grant of permission of an Energy from Waste Facility on the grounds of impact to European Sites and the setting of a Grade I property;+ a judicial review challenge to the meaning of open space and the correct weight to apply to the statements in an emerging Neighbourhood Plan;+ a case in relation to the legitimate expectation of the Claimant to be informed (and the Planning Committee) on an officer’s decision to take direct action.In relation to nuisance proceedings, current work includes:+ a private prosecution against a large development in central London;+ assisting in a claim of nuisance and odour from a printing works and a neighbour dispute relating to smoke nuisance.
