Cities & Health has been established to support human and planetary health by sharing the latest international research and practice for urban health and health equity. Our mission is to provide practitioners, researchers and communities with a platform to share, discuss problems to shape solutions from a spatial planning, urban design and physical city governance perspective-I contribute to international conversations on evidence-informed healthy city design and co-develop the journal strategy to bridge the divide between practitioner and academic communities.

ABOUT HANNAH ARNETT

I am an environmental psychologist specialising in urban wellbeing, human–environment behaviour, and the built environment, with complementary wellbeing practice, including yoga teaching as an embodied understanding of our inner and outer worlds for wellbeing.I work as a research practitioner and strategist, supporting cities, consultancies, developers, and organisations to apply behavioural and wellbeing evidence for design, planning, and policy. I develop and deliver applied research, insight, evaluation, and strategy, working with interdisciplinary teams across complex projects.With over 15 years’ experience across health innovation, medical education, and behavioural research, my work focuses on moving beyond individual-level wellbeing approaches toward preventive solutions that centres human and environment.My work contributes to healthier ways of living together in collaboration, with a particular focus on urban wellness infrastructure and place. I am open to advisory, research, and collaboration opportunities aligned with these areas for investment, wellbeing and social value-
