ABOUT HANNAH REYNOLDS
When I was three, I started taking ballet classes, and I\'ve been dedicated ever since. My passion for dance got me through 15 years of simultaneous exhaustion and grace, but now looking back, I realize I learned so much more than tendu en croix and pas de bourrée. I learned the importance of discipline, of grit, and of expression. Discipline, as many believe, is not punishment. It is the act of following a routine to push yourself to achieve your own personal best. Discipline is showing up everyday to push through the uncomfortable. It\'s finishing a project now so that your time off later is more fulfilling. It\'s knowing that the extra work you put in now will create positive habits that will make everything worth it. Discipline is not something to be condemned, it\'s something to commend. Grit, as many believe, does not mean to overwork yourself. It is having the perseverance and wisdom to continue through the pain and struggle. Grit is knowing how to pace yourself when you\'re about to burnout. It\'s deciding never to give up and knowing how to take care of yourself to fulfill that promise. Grit is carrying on because what you do benefits those around you. Expression, as many believe, is not just about appearances. Expression is letting the world see who you really are and what you really believe. It\'s not being ashamed of the values or opinions you have. Expression is letting yourself breathe and be seen by those around you. It\'s the declaration of triumph over fear. My name is Hannah Reynolds and I am a life-long learner. I believe a lesson can be found in everything you do and I continue to look for those lessons everyday, despite the inevitable obstacles along the way. I have a passion for connecting the left and right sides of the brain in everything I do, so the intersection of science and logic with art and creativity makes marketing most intriguing to me. Marketing is the vessel I\'m going to utilize to create a uniqueness that will serve the world, supported, of course, by my ballet lessons.
