Transitioning from digital marketing to QA engineering was a significant change in my career, but it was a decision I made based on my interest in technology and a desire to work in a more technical role. To prepare for the transition, I enrolled in a QA certification program that covered software testing fundamentals. I familiarized myself with JavaScript, JSON, and popular testing tools such as Postman and Jira. WHAT I CAN BRING TO THE TABLE I can plan, design, and execute tests that ensure a top-quality product that will meet the requirements and standards set by stakeholders including the project manager, developers, and product owners. While working in a Scrum environment, it was my responsibility to be highly attentive to the product\'s alignment with customers\' expectations and industry standards. I was able to achieve this by effectively communicating with my team, and implementing analytical skills. Among many of my learned skills, the most frequent have been creating test documentation, writing concise bug reports, comparing Figma to written requirements, and managing code (both front and back end). JavaScript is my coding language of choice. WHY MY EXPERIENCE IN DIGITAL MEDIA MATTERS IN MY CURRENT ROLE My experience gained in digital media marketing, such as understanding user behavior, the importance of a user-friendly experience, and problem-solving abilities have strengthened my understanding of the QA process. I recognize the value of ensuring your product meets the expected results and establishes a reliable user experience. I can effectively leverage my experience in SEO and my understanding of software testing to transform this vision into a tangible reality.
