Safewaze is a fall protection provider for workers at height. As the company’s only Technical Writer, I write clear and detailed manuals and labels for new products and update the manuals and labels for existing products. I take factual information and organize it into intelligible, logical, and formatted instructions for users of fall protection equipment. These manuals ensure the safety of customers in the field. I have revamped templates for booklet manuals, trifold manuals, and technical documents. I continuously collaborate with the Marketing Team, Product Team, engineers, technical specialists, and testing experts to fully understand each product’s specifications and usage requirements. Research is a daily aspect of my job as ANSI standards and OSHA regulations must be adhered to and addressed. Additionally, it is my responsibility to maintain records for all manuals and technical documents. I also handle manual translation processes. So far, I have written 67 new manuals, edited over 250 existing manuals (40 of these being complete overhauls), and revised and/or rewrote 121 technical documents.
