ABOUT HANNA HART

I am an executive coach with extensive experience in helping leaders define and achieve goals for themselves and their organizations. With deep and broad experience coaching individuals in large corporations, scrappy start-ups, law firms, foundations, and non-profits, my approach focuses on identifying meaningful, motivating goals and getting my clients into action to practice new behaviors and mindsets.Using assessments, peer feedback and interviews, and self-reflection, I help my clients identify opportunities to refine and redefine their skills and behaviors to enable them to maximize their value to teams and organizations. During coaching conversations, I work with clients to commit to well-defined goals and review progress on a regular basis. Together, we explore personal barriers to change and develop strategies to overcome them in daily work. I help clients develop broad self-awareness so that they can better see their behaviors and responsibilities in the context of their organization and identify resources and relationships that will support and sustain their development. My skills as a coach derive from traditional coaching frameworks and models, informed by my ongoing interest in learning and development. I bring the intellectual and analytical rigor that I developed as a philosophy major at Yale and a corporate attorney in New York. Inspired by the innovative spirit of the Bay Area, I retain the grit and directness of a New Yorker. Whether working with lawyers, engineers, finance, or business professionals, I have an appetite for understanding complex systems and subject matter and am a highly valued thought partner for my clients. Clients include: Google, Genentech, Nestlabs, Twitter, Ripple, Anki, SunRun, Funding Circle, Wharton Executive MBA, The Packard Foundation, The Hewlett Foundation, Climateworks Foundation, Natural Resources Defense Council, Clorox, Davis Polk & Wardwell, Farella Braun + Martell, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
