Responsible for development, execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement of CDC\'s strategies to end the global HIV and TB epidemics. I lead 1,900 exceptionally talented colleagues at headquarters and in 45 country offices to implement a $2B annual program. We provide life-saving antiretroviral treatment to 12M people living with HIV, stop the transmission of HIV from HIV-positive pregnant and breastfeeding mothers to their babies, and prevent HIV in persons at high risk for acquisition. We also develop and apply new scientific and technical solutions to find, cure, and prevent TB.
