About Hanif Alam
I\'m in my second year of Economics and Analytics at Narsee Monjee Of Commerce And Economics, and I\'m focused on the pursuit of knowledge at the intersection of Economics, Finance, and Technology.In my research track, my paper titled HEAR: HuBERT-Enhanced Attention-Driven Recurrent Network for Speech Emotion Recognition\" was accepted for a Springer Publication at the \"2nd International Conference on Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence (ITAI 2026)\" and presented at Lasell University USA fueling my path in more research based projects around machine learning and AI. Beyond academics, I will be joining as a summer intern at Deutsche Bank, where I get to apply my understanding of finance and data in a real-world setting.In my economic endeavors, I\'ve studied and presented the economic and environmental analysis of Ganesh Idol Markets, modelled global inflation patterns across 266 countries and 60 years of data, optimized a local cinema chains operations strategy and presented my prototype of an E-commerce platform for farmers (We-Start) at CNBC TV1 18\' Skill Titans (One of the 8 Semi Finalists out of 1.2 Lac Applications) and at the VIVO Ignite Technology & Innovation Initiative receiving Zonal Award for the prototype. Apart from my core subjects, you\'ll see my head in various debating, writing, filmmaking and research competitions, with a knack for storytelling and elocution, I have received several accolades across performing arts and represented Maharashtra at the AISM National Debate Competition along with selection at the regional round for The Frank Anthony Memorial Debate. I have led the Literary Arts department at NM Cultural Society to bring home various first podiums in debate, journalism, and writing competitions across Mumbai\'s top colleges (11x First Podiums in Inter-Collegiate Fests). For my accolades in Undergraduate, I was awarded Best Speaker And Best Writer for the academic year 25-26 from Narsee Monjee College Of Commerce And Economics.Grateful for the opportunities and looking forward to a process of new learnings, mistakes and good company.
