Research Focus:I develop and translate novel radiopharmaceuticals for cancer diagnosis/therapy and for neurological imaging—bridging preclinical discovery to first‑in‑human studies.Clinical work:I direct an FDA‑cGMP PET radiochemistry facility, overseeing implementation, production operations, quality assurance, and all IND/RDRC/ANDA regulatory filings.Key Accomplishments:1) Built and operate a fully compliant PET radiochemistry suite; manage daily production of FDA‑approved tracers and investigational F-18/C-11 labeling agents—including [11C]PiB & [18F]AV‑1451 (AD biomarkers),[18F]FDOPA (neuro‑oncology/Parkinson’s),[18F]FAZA & [18F]FMISO (tumor hypoxia), and multiple receptor‑ or proliferation‑targeted probes.2) Regulatory submissions (ANDA, IND, and RDRC) in partnership with clinicians and industry sponsors.3) Develop amino acid transporter and kynurenine‑pathway–targeted radiopharmaceuticals (e.g,[18F]FEt‑tryptophan) to quantify neuroimmune metabolism in brain tumors and other diseases.4) Develop radiotheranostic platforms: PET isotopes (C-11, F-18, Ga-68, C-64u, Z-89r) for PET imaging and matched therapeutic radionuclides (Cu-67, Lu-177, Ac-225, At-211) for β‑/α‑particle therapy.5) Innovated F‑18 /Cu-64/67 radiochemistry, including bioorthogonal click‑labeling and in‑vivo‑stable bifunctional chelators (e.g, Sar-cage) for peptides, antibodies, and nanoparticles.Specialties: Radiochemistry, radiopharmaceuticals, PET Imaging, radiopharmaceuticals therapy, Clinical trial.
