ABOUT HANA SADIK
Hey! I’m a senior in the Honors College at the University of Oregon. I’m currently working toward my Bachelor of Science in Political Science, as well as minors in Environmental Humanities and Arabic. I am hoping to pursue a career in the nonprofit space, international relations or city government. I’m looking to gain experience in community-oriented work, focusing on foreign policy, prison reform, and/or climate justice. I am also working on my senior honors thesis studying the influence of Islam on women\'s prisons in America. Through this process, I\'ve been developing my literature review skills, independent research management abilities, and collaborating with professors in my thesis committee to organize and edit my paper. This research seeks to fill an existing gap in literature, and hopefully will be a springboard for more focused study in the future.Outside of academics, I enjoy collaging, rock climbing, reading, writing, and exploring the outdoors!
