As the controller at FoodCloudPlus, I compile data to optimize financial planning and analysis of various R&D fundings such a SR & ED and oversee and support all accounting activities. I am responsible for managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers and time entry system while ensuring compliance and regulations with company and legal policies which aids me in payroll duties. By taking a part in operations activities, such as recruitment and resource planning, I have implemented new systems to optimize resource efficiency and productivity. By remaining knowledgably about existing, new, and future legislations, I have implemented consistent accounting policies, practices and procedures across all programs and providing guidance on financial decisions regarding company projections while keeping current economic landscapes in mind.

I am currently a Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) candidate at the University of Toronto with an expected graduation of 2024. I plan on obtaining my Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation past graduation. Combined with my education, I have built a strong skillset for both numbers and details. I have ample experience working in the IT consulting and software development ERP industry with a customer first mindset. I have had the opportunity to run the accounting department and be responsible for full-cycle accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, year-end closings, preparing financial and technical R&D funding proposals (SR & ED).
