ABOUT HAMZA ELGARF AMIMECHE

I first became fascinated by how things move and perform under pressure, which drew me towards Aerospace and Automotive Engineering. The challenge of turning complex designs into functional, efficient systems has always motivated me.I pursued a Master of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I bring a strong foundation in CFD, FEA, and mechanical design, honed through academic projects and hands-on internships. I am proficient in industry-standard software like SolidWorks, ANSYS Fluent & Mechanical, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python. To be even more competitive in the automotive and aerospace industries, I am currently self-learning CATIA, Python, and C++.Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on experience through internships and part-time work. At Synergy Engineering, I worked in the Product Development department as a CFD Engineer, running simulations to optimize design performance. At MCV, I contributed as a Mechanical Design Engineer, creating CAD models and supporting engineering projects from concept to prototype. I also work part-time in hospitality, which has strengthened my teamwork and communication skills under fast-paced conditions.Today, I continue to refine my technical expertise in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CFD analysis. I enjoy combining analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to improve designs and solve engineering challenges.Looking ahead, I aim to join the Aerospace or Automotive industry as a Stress Engineer, CFD Engineer, or Mechanical Design Engineer. I am eager to contribute to high-performance projects, leverage my design and simulation skills, and help create innovative, reliable, and efficient engineering solutions.To connect, please feel free to send a message.
