WORK HISTORY
Thermal Engineer Research and Development @Infiniflux
London, GB
Contribute to the development of advanced two-phase Direct-to-Chip (D2C) liquid cooling systems for high-performance data-centre applications, targeting GPU heat loads approaching W per chip while maintaining operating temperatures around 40 °C.• Lead and support thermal architecture design, system-level optimisation, and experimental validation of advanced liquid-cooled solutions, balancing thermal performance, pressure drop, flow stability, reliability, manufacturability, and integration constraints.• Translate advanced heat-transfer theory into deployable, commercially viable engineering solutions, supporting increased compute density, improved performance per watt, reduced maintenance costs, and extended hardware lifespan.• Actively involved in strategic UK-funded innovation programmes, including an Innovate UK–funded collaboration with Chipletti and Swansea University on next-generation cooling for 3D stacked microprocessors, and Henry Royce Institute–supported activities linking advanced materials with scalable manufacturing.• Contribute to the design and integration of advanced cooling structures within future chip packaging materials, addressing extreme thermal challenges in 3D integrated circuit architectures.• Support Infiniflux’s sustainability objectives, contributing to systems utilising zero-GWP refrigerants, avoiding PFAS, and achieving significant reductions in water consumption compared with conventional cooling approaches.• Communicate complex thermal concepts effectively across multidisciplinary engineering, academic, and commercial teams, supporting technical decision-making and collaborative innovation. This role sits at the interface of applied thermofluids research and industrial innovation, contributing to cooling solutions that aim to reduce data centre energy use, extend GPU lifespan, and support the future of sustainable AI and advanced computing.
