Contracts Specialist | Sunbelt Mixed-Use At Hines, I oversee the contract creation and execution process for Permanent Leasing, Ancillary Revenue, Marketing and Operations contracts within the Sunbelt Mixed-Use Retail Platform. I work alongside various internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts meet the standards of both Hines and our Partners, and aim to make what many see as a daunting process efficient and easy to digest. In addition, I oversee the Risk Management functions within the Sunbelt Mixed-Use Retail Platform, including the integration of myCOI, certificate tracking and claims reporting and management. I work alongside both Hines Corporate Risk Management, the Asset Ownership Risk Management and insurers to ensure all claims are managed adequately and efficiently. Claims include: General Liability, Property Liability, Environmental, and Terrorism. Outside of overseeing Contracts and Risk Management, I serve as a strategy and efficiency partner to the Retail Center of Excellence team - an internal consulting unit with various teammates in Retail Leasing, Marketing, Ancillary Revenue, Operations and Asset Management. I support the Mixed-Use Retail Subject Matter Expert Lead in ensuring the team is efficient and remains consistent on its projects and deliverables. Serve as quarterback for Tenant Bankruptcies. Establish Counsel of record, formulate plans for applicable filings, and manage document transfer between parties. Draft and manage Specialty License Agreements for ancillary revenue program at Atlantic Station, Fenton and Waverly Place.Oversee Marketing services and performance contracts for Atlantic Station, Fenton and Waverly Place. Assist in the drafting of contracts, reviewing of redlines and execution of contract services on behalf of Marketing and Property teams. Manage contract services for various Property Management Contracts including Goods & Services, Consultant Agreements and Purchase Agreements.
