Leading HMS Sherwood, a reservist unit located near the city centre of Nottingham. The embodiment of RNR training and activity in the East Midlands, it\'s seemingly an unlikely setting for an outpost of the RNR - the city is over 50 miles from the coast - nevertheless Reservists have been flying the White Ensign in the East Midlands for over 75 years and boasts a band of very loyal and committed part-time volunteer reservists and Permanent Staff at its core.
