I am a senior postdoctoral scientist and research group leader specializing in Molecular Genetics and Cellular Biology. With expertise in DNA analysis, cell culture techniques, and patient-derived endothelial progenitor cells for disease modeling, I have contributed significantly to understanding the genetic basis and pathophysiology of bleeding disorders. At the University Clinic Bonn\'s Institute of Experimental Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, I lead successful research projects, publish in reputable journals. In my role, I have excelled in research planning and execution, scientific leadership, and project management. My expertise spans a wide range of molecular genetics and cellular biology techniques, including PCR, RT-PCR, gene expression analysis, microarray-based techniques such as whole transcriptome RNA-sequencing and whole genome sequencing. I am skilled in diagnostic DNA analysis, variant curation, cell culture, advanced imaging techniques, FACS, functional assays, western blotting, ELISA, mass spectrometry, and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing.
