I currently lead enterprise digital transformation at Sadara Chemical Company, with accountability for converting digital ambition into disciplined, scalable execution across one of the world’s most complex asset-intensive manufacturing environments.My focus is on ensuring digital capability is embedded into how the organisation operates, governs, and makes decisions — aligned to business strategy, operational risk, and long-term value creation. This includes establishing clear digital direction, decision rights, and governance mechanisms that enable pace without compromising safety, reliability, or cyber resilience.Execution is central to the mandate. I work closely with senior leadership across operations, IT, OT, supply chain, and HSSE to translate strategy into sequenced roadmaps, remove structural barriers, and ensure digital initiatives either scale sustainably or are stopped decisively. The emphasis is on reducing fragmentation, focusing investment, and delivering outcomes that matter at enterprise level.Value realisation is treated as a leadership discipline rather than a reporting exercise. Digital initiatives are expected to articulate clear outcomes, align with core business KPIs, and demonstrate progress transparently.Given the criticality of safety and resilience, IT/OT integration and cybersecurity are embedded as parallel enablers of execution. Equally important is workforce adoption — ensuring digital tools enhance real workflows, support decision quality, and drive sustainable change.At its core, my role is about alignment, accountability, and execution — partnering with senior leaders to ensure digital transformation strengthens Sadara’s operational excellence today and competitiveness for the future.
