The Global Business Operations Director at CARE is a strategic leader committed to fulfilling the right to food, water, and nutrition for vulnerable populations. This role provides oversight and guidance to the Food and Water System Team (FWS), ensuring the efficient operation of programs that enhance food, nutrition, and water security. The Global Business Operations Director\'s role is pivotal in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency within the FWS team, establishing robust monitoring systems, and driving strategic investments. Moreover, the Global Business Operations Director leads resource mobilization efforts, securing funding and partnerships to support FWS goals. This role directly manages a group of highly skilled grants managers who handle diverse portfolios, managing a wide range of funding from corporate, foundation, private, and institutional donors. In FY22, our food, water, and nutrition portfolio reached 41.8 million participants directly, with 63% of them being women, through 693 projects spanning across 78 countries. Since the commencement of the Vision 2030 strategy period, the portfolio has supported 8.5 million people in fulfilling their right to food, water, and nutrition. Together with the FWS team, the Business Operations Director plays a vital role in creating sustainable, equitable, and resilient food and water systems that positively impact the lives of millions of people.
