About Hamed Bolandi
I received my Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and Computer Science from Michigan State University. As a researcher focused on integrating () to create reduced order models (ROM) and surrogate models.My research involves using deep learning algorithms to augment finite element analysis models, enabling more accurate and efficient predictions of system behavior. By training neural networks I am able to reduce the computational cost of high-fidelity models, reducing the need for expensive and time-consuming simulation and physical testing. & : Python, Pytorch, MATLAB, SQL, CAD, ANSYS, PyAnsys, ABAQUS, modeFRONTIERHere are a few examples of my work:• Deployment of cutting-edge digital design and engineering strategies using machine learning techniques.• Implemented a deep learning algorithm to using Physics Informed Neural Network (PINN), which is generalizable and times faster than conventional solvers.• Developed surrogate models to in intact and damaged structural components using deep learning methods and to capture damages with the size of 1 mm. • Built data reduction algorithm for the systems, using, leading to over 2500% reduction in storage requirement.• Conducted a - with out-of-plane unwanted eccentricity which led to an approach to reduce their negative effects of out-of-plane eccentricity.
