I’m a first-generation UVA McIntire student (Finance) focused on public-markets investing and becoming elite at clear thinking, modeling, and writing. Here’s what has happened over the past 4 years….2022: Started High Valued, my barber studio, grew to 155 clients through Instagram, a referral engine, and a high-touch service in 3 years and reinvested my earnings into public equities to build investing reps.2023: Started at UVA and built my foundation in finance (accounting, econ, stats) while leaning into programs that accelerated my career clarity (SEO Career, Recalc Academy, Headstart Fellowship)2024: Deepened my foundation through student-run clubs (SEED Consulting & Blackfin Investment Group) and case/stock-pitch competitions.2024 (Summer): Interned with PwC supporting impact measurement work at the Oakland Education Fund (~$7M), built a data dashboard that cut reporting time and reduced human errors.2024 (Fall): Drove Strategy & Growth at DoorList by partnering with Multicultural and Pan-Hellenic Greek Organizations on grounds.2025: Became Head of the Investment Committee (CIO) at BlackFin, leading a $15K long/short fund, chartered the investment committee, led 16 analysts across 4 sector pods, standardized templates (DCF/comps/precedents), and facilitated 16 pitches.2025 (Summer): Interned at UVIMCO (Investment Analyst), evaluated 16 manager proposals across asset classes for a $15.7B endowment.2026: Studying abroad at ESADE in Barcelona and heading into Bank of America Investment Banking (Incoming Summer 2026)It’s been a journey.
