Develops and promotes health communication products, maintains internal and external web pages, and provides counsel to center leadership to amplify messaging in support of program priorities. Primary communications technical advisor for harm reduction, correctional health, and syringe services programs (SSPs), including the Appalachian Influence and Community Partners in Harm Reduction social media influencer programs.• Serves as center manager for the Digital First Asset Tool (DFAT), responsible for training staff on taxonomy (e.g, keywords, tagging), ALT text, 508 compliance, personally identifiable information (PII), and copyright rules related to image storage.• Chiefly responsible for image selection, ALT text, and captioning for NCHHSTP website in relation to 2024 CDC.gov relaunch (Clean Slate). In Oct. 2024, CDC received a w3-Award for best practices for a government website for its accessibility efforts.• Responsible for the launch CDC\'s Correctional Health website (2023) and the NCHHSTP Careers webpage (2021), serving as lead writer on both projects. Maintains CDC\'s World AIDS Day, About NCHHSTP, Condom Effectiveness, and Bill Jenkins Lecture Series webpages.• Served as Social Media Lead for NCHHSTP/HCSO from 2020 to 2023, working closely with NCHHSTP Director Jonathan Mermin to prepare scripts and develop his social media presence, resulting in a 20 percent increase in engagement.
