With well over a decade in roles leading analysts, my professional experience combines two of my strengths: a mathematical background, and an enthusiasm for leading and coaching analysts. My education and early career were guided by mathematical abilities, so naturally I moved into an analytical role. However, early in my career, I was given the opportunity to lead a team - and since then I have found that my real passion lies in enabling analysts in their daily work and in personal development. With the rise of data science and machine learning over recent years, I have also had a resurgence in enthusiasm for developing my own technical skills; specifically in machine learning / deep learning and Python programming. I am very excited about the vast potential for leading teams in applying these methods to solve real problems in an increasingly data-driven world.
