ABOUT HALLEY DICKEY

I grew up in a home and at a time when good old fashioned manners and hard work ethic were modeled for me. My father was a manufacturer\'s rep in the coal fired central station steam utility business. As a young person, I\'d go to the office and help out with marketing, mailing and shipping, but was always exposed to the most important professional aspects of relationship building. and power generation equipment representation via engineered technical sales. I interned at Black & Veatch during college, and ultimately worked full time in in the Mechanical Division in Overland Park, KS. Relocating to California in 1980, I worked in thermal energy, heat transfer, and energy efficiency markets, developing power and co-generation, turnkey projects, and energy development for the next 20 years. By I\'d moved to independent power project development; gas turbines, recip engines, co-generation and thermal heat recovery. Innovation and success followed in renewable fueled power-generation / augmentation, inlet chilling, thermal energy storage, and steam and organic rankine cycle (ORC) technologies, where I worked with the major engine manufacturers and rep\'d ORMAT. In 2004, I joined UTC Power for the PureCycle™ development program, and successful completion of waste heat and geothermal ORC, fuel cell, and integrated co-gen business development and projects. In 2008, I came to TAS Energy as a Director; providing clean economic power solutions by focusing on energy efficiency and renewables, providing engineered modular energy solutions for the power generation industry and renewable energy sectors. I specialized in product and project development (high efficiency life cycle economic performance) in heat-to-power generation. Coming full circle, I joined Industrial Builders in 2014 to bring my expertise to a well known and respected full service EPC firm dedicated to serving the power generation, geothermal, waste heat to energy, industrial power and process, oil and gas/petro-chem/pipeline industries in both the private and public sectors.
