ABOUT HALLE KILL
Growing up internationally and in New York City surrounded by health disparities fostered a passion for international development as it relates to healthcare. My relationships with those living in underserved communities were the catalysts for my motivation to pursue medicine and cultivated a personal mission of empowering the poor and marginalized through equitable healthcare. After graduating from Baylor with a degree in International Relations, I moved to Central America where I conducted research on meaningful interventions for diabetes management in the urban slum setting and learned from rural clinics and other global health initiatives throughout Guatemala. Following my time there, I started medical school and continue to serve with organizations and programs advocating for the belief that no one should die from a disease that is treatable and preventable.In my free time, you can typically find me hiking with friends and family in the Pacific Northwest (or summiting volcanoes in Guatemala) and cheering on the Baylor Bears.
