   I am a commercial and banking and financial services litigator with almost 20 years of experience litigating and resolving legal claims. In my commercial practice, I regularly represent all types of businesses including financial institutions, mortgage servicers and construction companies. My representative matters include prosecution and defense of construction defect claims, breach of contract disputes, professional liability disputes and affirmative policyholder insurance recoveries. In my banking and financial services practice, I regularly defend against borrower and customer-driven claims, and I provide advice regarding recoupment options, including lien rights, closing errors, title insurance, mortgage insurance and correspondent/broker agreements. I have also served as the firm’s lead relationship attorney for several large financial services companies over the years with a focus on the delivery of consistent and high-quality legal services at competitive rates. I make every effort to listen closely to the needs of my clients and to help them identify the best solution for their specific and tailored legal needs, which can include anything from a single borrower lawsuit to a class action to regulatory and compliance issues impacting the operations of the company. While I genuinely enjoy the litigation process, my primary objective is always to find the right solution for my clients, and I continually evaluate risks during the course of litigation to keep my clients apprised of developments so that they can continue to evaluate the best path to resolution, which frequently is to reach a settlement without the need for protracted litigation.
