Hi, I\'m Halima! I\'m a fourth-year journalism student at the University of Florida pursuing an outside concentration in African studies — possessing a strong background in multimedia reporting, research and public speaking. I\'ve generated valuable reporting experience through my work with organizations like NBC, WUFT News, The Independent Florida Alligator and Teen Vogue. Alongside my academic pursuits, I\'ve sharpened my leadership abilities through my executive role in the Florida Cicerones, a service organization.
