About Halima Taha

As a Principal Consultant at taha THINKS, llc, I provide art advisory, appraisal, collection management, and curatorial services to a diverse clientele, ranging from corporations and museums to educational institutions and private collectors. I leverage my Master\'s degree in Arts Management & Cultural Policy from New York University and my compliance certificate in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice to deliver high-quality and ethical solutions that meet the needs and goals of my clients. I am also an accomplished author and speaker, with multiple publications and lectures on topics such as collecting, protecting, and appraising fine art, building bridges between art school and the art world, corporate collection strategies and ethics, intellectual property and diversity in art, and African American art history. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with various audiences, and fostering a greater appreciation and understanding of art and culture. My mission is to empower and inspire others to discover, enjoy, and invest in art, and to contribute to the advancement and recognition of artists of color.
