About Haley Johnson
I am a junior at Eastern Michigan University that is studying computer science. I chose to study computer science, because technology has a huge impact on the world, and it is a powerful force. Computer science is also a very broad field with many avenues to go through. I find passion in learning about technology, by learning about how it alters the human experience. Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python are programming languages that I have skills in due to my experiences. I also continue to learn how important teamwork, and dedication is through my experiences. Additionally, I love volunteering and community service. I have made blankets for children in hospitals, Thanksgiving cards for individuals in nursing homes, Christmas cards for individuals in hospitals, and distributed food for people in need. I even volunteered for the Ozone House, and at homeless shelters. Every semester I make sure to give back to the community.
