About Haley Martin
Haley St. Martin, MS, has been working for Providence St. Jude Medical Center as a Speech-Language Pathologist since July 2023. Previously, she worked for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tustin, and for Speech, Language and Educational Associates (SLEA). She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in French in 2017. She then completed her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with Distinction at Northern Arizona University in 2019. Haley has experience in hospitals (outpatient and acute inpatient rehab), private practice, virtual services, and schools. She has served a variety of populations across the lifespan, including those with aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, head and neck cancer, cognitive communication disorders, CVA, TBI, neurodegenerative disorders, total laryngectomy, transgender voice, chronic cough, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, fluency disorders, developmental delay, and more. Haley has special interest in the areas of voice, swallowing, head and neck cancer, and stuttering. She received extensive experience in the areas of voice and swallowing during an externship at the UC Davis Medical Center - Center for Voice and Swallowing. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD), SPEAK OUT! therapy program for Parkinson’s, and Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP). Haley also has experience as an ASHA-approved CEU presenter for topics including voice assessment and voice treatment. Haley strongly believes in a collaborative approach, and she enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their full potential. In her free time, Haley enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, surfing, and spending time with family and friends.
