Industrial business group lead for US export trade compliance (OFAC, EAR, ITAR) for products, installation and warranty repair services, technical data transfer, foreign national employment, and export licensing; escalation point for 20+ global locations- Guide military marine department in transactions with foreign militaries via export of propulsion and auxiliary engine control systems for use onboard Naval destroyer/frigate ships- Authorizations: Drive licensing strategy, create and process physical and deemed export licenses (hardware and foreign person technical data via DSP-5, BIS, OFAC general licenses), TAA’s, and MLA’s- Classification: Determine appropriate jurisdiction for export classification of hardware and technology (ECCN; USML); HTS classification- Contracts: Review customer/supplier contracts and provide changes or alternative language to trade compliance clauses- Sanctions: Manual denied party screening and sanction due diligence research for new business, current business general risk assessment, M&A/divestiture due diligence, and diversion risk- Technology Control Plan (TCP): Implement TCP at Industrial sites, including activities regarding foreign person members, foreign visitor process development, export-controlled area facility maps, and implementing and revising facility signage- Training: Develop and host trade compliance training based on business demand and risk, tailored to functional groups (military marine, sales, engineering, building security, and subsidiaries)
