About Haley Morris
I have just completed my Masters of Science in Cancer Research and Precision Oncology from the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland, where I investigated the ability of caspase independent cell death to elicit an anti-tumorigenic response. I am now back in Seattle, looking to begin working as a research associate or scientist in cellular/molecular or cancer biology.Before pursuing my masters, I worked as a Research Associate at The Allen Institute for Cell Science. My work there included hiPSC culture, spinning disk confocal microscopy, and general laboratory skills such as Western blotting, cell fixation, and immunostaining. Our work led to a publication that is currently in preprint on BioRX.During my undergraduate degree, I was a member of the Honors College at Washington State University and majored in biochemistry and minored in Genetics and Cell Biology. I have co-authored two publications and am a 2021 Barry Goldwater Scholar. I was highly involved in undergraduate research, and participated in three research labs in my time at WSU.
